However, ASUU has insisted that university lecturers will only return to work when their demands are met by the federal government. Speaking on Wednesday, January 23, Biodun Ogunyemi, the president of ASUU, stated that N50 billion is the least amount for the first quarter of 2019 the union is asking for from the federal government as revitalisation fund, Nigerian Tribune reports.
