Born on August 21, 1992 in Houston, Texas by a single mother born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Minerva Ololade Munis always knew she wanted to be an entertainer. From primary school to University, her extracurricular activities have always been artistic. Shes played the trumpet for over a decade in various Jazz Ensembles, Orchestras, and Marching Bands. She starred and acted in various school plays an sang for various top ranked choirs. Being a natural born Athlete and and qualifying for Nationals at her local High School's Powerlifting Team, Lola, her artist name, decided to Graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology specializing Wellness Management. Soon after graduation in 2013, she worked as a personal trainer and started her own fitness company AfrobeatMvmnt to celebrate fitness and Afrobeat as a culture. She was introduced to the music world when she recorded her first single at 18. Starting off as an RnB/Soul Hip-Hop Singer/Songwriter/ Rapper, making the transition to honor her roots as an Afrobeat artist was a no brainer.
